Congratulations Muriel Allen!

We are thrilled to announce that this season’s Editor’s Choice Award winner is Muriel Allen for her poem “Samhain Sister” which is available for your enjoyment on our awards page and will be published in the upcoming Volume 4 of the Frost Meadow Review which will be released this November!

Muriel Allen has family on both sides that have lived in Maine since the early 1700’s. She sometimes wonders how the lives of these country people– farmers and loggers and hardworking women– may have shaped who she is today. She has been published in The Stanza, Balancing Act 2, and Frost Meadow Review Volume 3.

The Editor’s Choice Award winner is selected from the Frost Meadow Review submissions each season. The winner receives a $50 cash prize, their poem is published in the Frost Meadow Review and published online on the Frost Meadow Review webpage.
