Five Years Celebrating Poets

So much to celebrate!

Hello Dear Friends of the Frost Meadow Review,

First, I want to say THANK YOU for the continued support of our work! We had the most amazing collection of poems submitted for consideration for our 10th volume! This marks five whole years of celebrating poets near and far! We are a bit behind schedule this year (normally hard copies would have been in your hands by now) and we apologize for the delay. We are creating a beautiful collection and can’t wait to get it into your hands! Our goal this time of year is to get these out to you all so you can share them with your loved ones over the holidays. We will keep you posted as we progress toward this goal.

On a personal note, I am so grateful for this community. Frost Meadow Review began when I needed poetry as a lifeline for my own hope and healing. It continues to be an important piece of who I am and it is a delight to promote the voices of others as they create and share their work. I am grateful for the grace and understanding of you all as I have navigated multiple life events over the past five years. Many of you knew me before I changed my name, many of you knew me before I got married, added a second child and a second Master’s Degree to my life. It is a delight to have reached the other side of these momentous changes and see the Frost Meadow Review still here and growing. This would not have been possible without the support of our FANTASTIC Assistant Editor Patrick Stanton (who has dedicated many hours to the curation, creation of each volume) and the support of my husband Steven Matthews who has helped keep things running behind the scenes time and time again. As I return with more energy and focus, I notice I have dropped the ball numerous times on my end of communication/organization and publicity. My apologies to all who have felt confused, lost or frustrated by these oversights. I will be working on tidying up the many loose ends and setting our course for the next five years. May we all have fair winds and following seas!

With much gratitude and best wishes for you all!
